Auto Rights & Responsibilities – Police Reports

  • It is important that you get a copy of the police report a soon as you can. That will have the other driver’s insurance information if you do not already have it. It will also set forth a preliminary version of the accident, which insurance personnel will rely on for settling property damage matters.
  • The police report does not establish who was at fault in a court of law.

You have the right to have your vehicle repaired at a facility of your choice!

Don’t let an insurance company take away your rights.
